Suze started practicing during her Psychology studies, which turned out to be the perfect practice for her to find balance and healing. Since then, she studied different forms of yoga, coaching, and personal development.
Suze teaches yoga since 2006 and she describes her style as fluid with a lot of attention for alignment and the breath. Since 2010, she unites her passion for yoga, personal development, and travel in her yoga retreat company Global Flow.
Suze’s yoga education started with a 200h Ashtana Vinyasa teacher training with Hilary Brown and Katiza Ivulic at Yoga Moves, Utrecht. She continued with another 200h Ashtange Vinyasa Teacher Training with Katiza Ivulic. After that, she studied Prana Flow® Yoga with Shiva Rea and Twee Merrigan. The past five years her studies focused more on deepening her knowledge about alignment and anatomy, mostly through Anusara® yoga with Barbra Noh.
Yoga is the foundation for everything Suze does. It is her personal practice that she tries to integrate in her life on a daily basis, both on and off the mat. Yoga represents a deepening of insight in herself and her experiences, connections, authenticity, and compassions. But Yoga also represents being sincerely present for whatever life presents her with. This is the essence that Suze tries to share in her classes.
